Vision Kino 20 ***Postponed***
Vision Kino 20 turns into Vision Kino 21
The VISION KINO congress on the future of film, education and cinema was originally planned for this November. After it – due to pandemic conditions – could not be held as planned, there is now a new date! The most important film education conference in Germany will take place on 9 and 10 June 2021 in the Thuringian state capital Erfurt. Once again closely linked to the host state of Thuringia, the VISION KINO Congress will cooperate for the first time with the GOLDENER SPATZ Children’s Media Festival taking place at the same time. Selected events of the festival programme will be interlinked with the congress programme to create extended opportunities for exchange.
Next summer’s congress will take place under the impression of special challenges for film culture and education due to the after-effects of the pandemic. More than ever before, it will offer film education enthusiasts, film mediators, teachers, cinema operators, programme makers, filmmakers and young people a forum to address current issues in the field of film, to discuss effective strategies and to strengthen networks for the future of film education. All under the guiding motto: Film education and cinema, now more than ever! The main features of the postponed congress will be retained, but modifications and additions will soon be incorporated into the programme as it develops.
Registrations will be possible with the publication of the congress programme from the beginning of February 2021, but for now: Save the Date!
